EYA Design is an interior design studio based in Denver, Colorado. Principal Designer Emily Young Alford is a Colorado transplant by way of New York City, where she worked for over a decade. Synthesizing a fine arts background with experience gained from working with some of New York City’s best architecture and design firms, Emily brings a creative sensibility to a range of projects, including residential, hospitality and commercial sectors. She has previously worked for Deborah Berke Partners and Elizabeth Roberts Architects in New York, as well as Alvarez Morris in Colorado.
NCIDQ certified, Emily is a graduate from Vassar College and Parsons School of Design. She continues to find inspiration in how a space transforms into a home, believing strongly in embracing collected elements from a client’s past rather than erasing an existing history to make room for the new.
